yesterday i had a crycrycry with erika while driving back from church. the service had been about second chances. i said that i doubted god would give me a second chance, because i've fucked up too badly. she said that this was my second chance and i'd better sieze it.

there are entries here from the days when i was running wild and it makes me sad to see how stupid and immature i was. there are snatches of my problems knitted in between entries about doctor who and dr. horrible and you don't watch either of them, do you, because you get to see real doctors now.

sometimes i wonder how i would be if someone had stopped me back then.

So. I have returned from my first day at la new school.

Let me sum up.

So....all the classes are gonna be FRICKEN AWESOME and I basically know all my classmates. There are a large number of rather preppy blonde girls, this enormously tall eastern european kid, these girls who read the dreaded Twilight ,a girl who I SWEAR looks EXACTLY like a short brunette version of Sybil (it's crazy), aaaand, some totally awesome girls who've actually talked to me and attempt to be my friend.

Oooh. We went to this old seamstress's house to get my uniform modified (i.e. tighter, shorter) and i kept getting distracted by old black and white pictures of her dead husband. They were all of him when he was about twenty, and he was in an old naval uniform. I think the WWII uniforms look better than the ones soldiers wear now. That boy was FINE.

 So apparently, at Comic Con, Joss Whedon was asked if he would ever make a Torchwood musical with RTD.

I realize that nobody reading this knows what Torchwood is. It's basically about a supernatural Murder Inc filled with bisexual Welsh people who like to do aliens. It's a Dr. Who spin off. It's a huge hit in the UK

I don't watch it because it's NAUGHTY.

...Okay, so maybe i do watch it. But that doesn't make the idea of a musical episode any less horrifying.
